Instructions

Step 1: Bake the Sponge Cake

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and ready two greased, lined 8-inch pans. Whisk the dry ingredients in one bowl, then beat the eggs and sugar in another until pale and fluffy; gently combine everything with the milk, melted butter, and vanilla. Divide the batter into the pans, bake 25–30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean, and cool completely before decorating.

Step 2: Prepare Whipped Cream with a Cream Charger

Pour cold heavy cream into your whipped cream dispenser, then add powdered sugar and vanilla and give it a gentle stir. Close the lid, charge the dispenser with gas according to the regulator instructions, and shake about 30 times to whip. Test with a small swirl—the cream should come out light and stable.

Step 3: Assemble the Cake

Place one cake layer on a serving plate. Pipe whipped cream evenly across the surface.

Add the second cake layer on top, then cover the whole cake with whipped cream.

Use decorative tips to pipe swirls, rosettes, or borders for a professional finish.

Add sprinkles, fresh fruit, or chocolate shavings for extra flair.
