With the help of a cream charger and pressure regulator, you can elevate this treat by creating an incredibly smooth, foamy texture that feels almost like a dessert in a glass.

 

Ingredients

200 ml whole milk (chilled) and Ice cubes Equipment
100 ml soda water (ice-cold) and Cocoa powder (for garnish, optional) Cream dispenser
2 tbsp chocolate syrup (or cocoa paste)  Whipped cream charger
1 fresh egg yolk (optional, for extra richness) Pressure regulator 
1–2 tsp simple syrup or honey (to taste) Mixing bowl and whisk

Instructions

  • Prepare the base mixture

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the milk, chocolate syrup, egg yolk, and sweetener until smooth and fully combined.

 

  • Charge the mixture

Pour the chocolate mixture into your cream dispenser. Secure the lid, attach the pressure regulator, and charge with one nitrous oxide tank. Shake the dispenser gently for a 30 seconds to allow the gas to infuse.

  • Assemble the drink

Fill a tall glass with ice cubes and pour in the chilled soda water, leaving room at the top.

 

  • Dispense the foam

Carefully dispense the chocolate milk foam from the cream dispenser into the glass, letting it mix with the soda water. You’ll see the bubbles rise and create a frothy, silky layer.
